Im sitting home alone watching tv. It's an average Tuesday night. I watcv QI or TLC or a movie and I know that I should do the dishes and pack away my laundry but I can do it tomorrow also. I sit on my couch, Lisa is away tonight so not sitting on her's and I'm playing cellphone games, watsapping, not thinking about anything in particular.
This TV ad comes on and I start to analyse it and think what i should type about it on my blog and decide that one day I would do things like that. Then I thought, why would I do it one day? Why not now? I know that Im put off by the fact that I'm posting this via the Weebly app on my phone, so it's a post and not a tab under 'They did what' as I would preffer for it to be, but atleast I'm doing something. I'm not putting it off till one day like I so often do.
In actual fact, that's what, in all practicality, what my blog is for. I have no dreams of becoming a wellknow twentysomething year old blogger, but atleast I have this platform on which I have saved and my thoughts and experiences from which I could one day write my stories. (please excuse my typo's, I'm rather excited at this revalation of taking action.)
So that ad that cane on is this Revitalift ad with Naomi Watts. It's selling a supposed age defying formula for women. It's in black and white. Who are they fooling?! Seriously? Also, how strange is the fact that they went with selling the fact that makes her cheeks "plumper" what 21st century under the influence of media stereotypes woman wants plump cheeks?! Am I wrong?
